Prince William has ‘won’ a bitter feud between him and wife Kate Middleton which has reportedly left her ‘heartbroken’. The King-in-waiting has longed for their eldest child, Prince George, to attend one of the country’s top boarding schools – and it seems that he has been granted his wish.
Last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted surveying Eton College, fuelling rumours about Prince George’s educational future. Going to Eton would mean following in the footsteps of his dad, Prince William, and uncle, Prince Harry.
An insider last year suggested that the Princess of Wales was apprehensive about the day her son would leave for boarding school, but she has now recognised it as an inevitable part of his Royal journey, as reported by the Express. The source disclosed: “Kate long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition.”
