Camilla in tears as King tells Samoans he hopes to ‘survive long enough to…

Friends of Queen Camilla claim she is ‘terrified’ and ‘fearful’ of King Charles as he battles an unnamed cancer. According to The Daily Beast, the insiders suggest Charles is ‘rushing’ his recovery after palace aides told newspapers that he will be available to continue travelling long haul.
The aides shared that Charles and Camilla’s visit to Australia and Samoa was a great success, despite the fact the King had to pause his cancer treatment to make it work. The Queen’s mental state is also being considered after the trip, after it was revealed she spent a week at a private and exclusive Ayurvedic retreat in India.
On the last day of the tour, one friend says she was having an “emotional reaction” and was moving between giggles and tears after Charles said at the farewell ceremony in Samoa, “I shall always remain devoted to this part of the world and hope that I survive long enough to come back again and see you.”
A friend of Camilla’s told The Daily Beast, “It was a strange thing to say, and I think Camilla had an emotional reaction. Of course it would. She is terrified. They have had a horrendous year. Now with this return to work, she is understandably fearful her husband is rushing it. She just wants him to slow down and prioritise his health.”
