Expert claims ‘alarm bells will be ringing’ for Prince Harry and Meghan ‘won’t see eye to eye’ on parenting issue

A royal expert reckons Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not see eye-to-eye on a key parenting issue after a change in direction from the couple over the past few weeks. Having previously kept children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, out of the public eye, Meghan, 43, has used an image with Lilibet in it to plug her new lifestyle brand As Ever.

The Duchess of Sussex’s new website includes a full-screen image of her running through a field with Lilibet, whose face is not on screen. It follows both Archie and Lilibet appearing on their family Christmas card last year and them appearing in a tribute video Meghan made for her beloved dog, Guy, who died in January.

Duncan Larcombe, who wrote the book Prince Harry: The Inside Story, reckons ‘alarm bells might be ringing’ for the Duke of Sussex, 40, given his own opinion on the press. He has been outspoken about his struggles in growing up in the public eye and vowed to do what he could to avoid similar issues for his children, saying: “But certainly when it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering, because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so I don’t pass it on, basically.”

Speaking to Ok!, Mr Larcombe said: “If Harry could wave a magic wand, I think he’d want a world where his children would never be recognised or seen as public property in any way, because he hated that himself. He’s wrestled with it his whole life.
