Princess of Wales returns to work for first time since announcing end of chemotherapy

The Princess of Wales has returned to work at Windsor Castle for the first time since finishing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

Catherine hosted a meeting related to her Early Years project at the royal estate, according to the Court Circular published on Tuesday evening.

It is the first mention of the Princess of Wales’ official work in the court circular – the public record of the royal family’s engagements – since she began cancer treatment earlier this year.

It states: “The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.”

Catherine, 42, attended the meeting with members of her household team.

While it is the first official meeting to appear under her name in 2024, the princess was previously noted in the court circular for attending Wimbledon and at Trooping the Colour.
