Andy Murray Opens Door to Coaching Return but Says “Not Right Now”

Retired tennis star Andy Murray has revealed that while he remains open to a future in coaching, he is not in a hurry to return to the demanding life of the professional tennis circuit. Speaking in recent interviews, the former world No. 1 emphasized that his priorities have shifted since stepping away from competitive tennis in 2024.

Murray explained that coaching is something he genuinely enjoyed during his recent stint, but he is currently focused on other aspects of life beyond the sport. The 38-year-old suggested that any potential coaching role would need to align with his personal commitments, particularly his desire to spend more time with family.

He also hinted that, if he does return, he would prefer working with younger players, helping to shape the next generation rather than immediately jumping back into the high-pressure world of top-tier competition.

For now, Murray is taking a step back, carefully considering his options while enjoying a more balanced lifestyle.
