Secret Meghan Markle bullying investigation never made public as former aide breaks silence

The royal aide who sparked an investigation into bullying allegations made against Meghan Markle has said he has no regrets about speaking out. Jason Knauf, a former staffer at Kensington Palace, reported concerns about Meghan in October 2018.

At the time, Mr Knuaf said he was “very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year”. Meghan has always denied the accusations, with a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan calling it a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation”.

Buckingham Palace launched an internal probe into the claims. But its findings remain secret with the public likely to never find out what conclusions were reached.

Mr Knauf appeared on 60 Minutes Australia to speak about his time working for royalty and said he had no regrets about raising his concerns. He said he “wouldn’t change anything,” adding: “…it’s not what I would’ve sought, but you know, at the end of the day, you get to do an amazing job. You’ve got to take everything that comes with it.
